Computer room

For those who do not own a PC, the CIP-pool (Computer Invested Program) in the basement of building E is the place to go. The CIP-pool is equipped with 16 PCs with all neccessary programs and fast internet connections.

Opening hours:

Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Fridays: 8:00 am - 2:30 pm

Supervised hours:

• Mondays 2-5 pm
• Tuesdays 10 am-4 pm
• Wednesdays 8:15 am-1:15 pm
• Thursdays 8:15 am-1:15 pm
• Fridays 8:15 am-2:30 pm

Supervised hours during holidays:

The hours during which the CIP-pool is supervised are currently irregular. Please consult the notices posted in the CIP-pool. As a rule, supervision is available at least twice a week.

Supervision means that a technically versed assistant is present in the CIP-pool to help you with any computer-related problems.

All of these programs are available on all PCs. Laser printouts cost 10 Cent/EUR per page and are only available during supervised hours. The CIP-pool is equipped with an Agfa flatbed scanner (300 dpi). Please register with the supervisors beforehand if you need something scanned for university use.

A valid account (university e-mail address) is neccessary to work in the CIP-pool. Please consult the supervisors if you need such an account.
